Development 0.4 - #8
Hey there friends!
I hope you're all doing great! I'm doing well myself and looking forward to my vacation - mainly so I can put more time into development.
Speaking of development, over the past two weeks I've managed to finalize the scene I was working on, and I think it turned out pretty great. I ended up making five larger animations for it - which is quite a lot for a non-H scene - but the scene really needs that impact. Otherwise it just wouldn't hit the way it should, if you know what I mean.
Outside of that, the last two weeks have been a little weird. Between Humanity got de-indexed for a bit, but it's back again, so no worries there. As a precaution, I manually de-indexed the SFW version (Beyond Humanity) since it might be seen as boosting the main game. Personally I don't think that's the case, but I'll wait for itch.io's response to my ticket. Still, thank you so much to everyone who rated the SFW version when I asked in the last devlog - much love for that!
And one more big milestone: we've passed 3,000 members on Patreon! Honestly, if you had told me when I first started development that we'd get here, I wouldn't have believed it for a second. Yet here we are, and I'm so grateful to every one of you who's interested in the game and its development.

More characters at this point (at least love interests) isn't the best idea, since I have quite a lot already. But we'll see about that lol. Will definitely include some more bonding scenes, don't worry! It's all about mixing story with relationships and sexy time in BH.
I never did get around to playing Beyond Humanity when it was up. What were the differences between it and Between Humanity? I know Beyond Humanity was SFW, but, beyond that (pun unintended 😛) what else was different? Were the NSFW parts of the story replaced by something else, or just taken out with nothing to fill that space?

It sounds like chapter 4 is gonna be the most intense chapter yet. We're not just vibing anymore, the shit has hit the fan, so to speak - that's my theory, at least. I'm looking forward to it!

The sfw parts would look totally different compared to the original images, that wouldn't fit at all. I blurred/censored/removed the NSFW parts. It's supposed to be the story without the adult parts. And just a prototype at this stage.
