Development 0.4 - #7
Hey everyone!
Those past two weeks were quite a ride, honestly. But the game is back on itch, re-indexed and available for everyone as it was before, so yay! My new SFW version, Beyond Humanity, got de-indexed as well for two days, which removed it from the new&popular category on itch, quite a bummer. Would be great if you could leave a rating for it here, so it gets a little bit more popularity, would really appreciate it!!! :)
If you didn't notice already, I have added a web build to Between Humanity's itch page! I will always advise to download the game to enjoy a better quality and to have your save files local, but hey, you can play the entire game through your browser now! I assume this works on iOS as well, so Apple users can play BH too now! (Side note: I have added both variations of gamma/brightness adjustments into the web build! - talked about those in the last dev log - and thanks to Reverbrick for bringing the gamma method to my attention!)
Back to the development topic: I'm currently a bit occupied IRL, so I haven't got as much done as I would like over the past two weeks, despite all those other problems that arose. This will continue next week. I also haven't found any time to start on the current monthly render - sorry - but I'll tackle it tomorrow and probably work through it until Wednesday. I'm also working on some animations for the game at the moment, which I just have to get right or they won't really work, so quite some time has been sunk into those! Hope I'll get them perfect at some point so you can enjoy them to their fullest!
I'll stop here for today since it's already past midnight. Hope you guys have a great upcoming week and thank you all so much for sticking with me in this tough situation! <3

Have you ever though about making a youtube video about your workflow? It would be nice to see how much effort and skill is required to make a game like this. Also to see what tools are needed. Thanks!
Hey there! I actually haven't really thought about this, since doing this will working on the actual new content would spoil quite a lot, imo. Maybe showing of the design process of preparing maps for a new scene or some characters could be something people are interested in after the new content has been released? Could be worth a shot, like a little "behind the scenes of the Chapter 4 scenery". There are some drawbacks though, it could ruin people's immersion or like they see how character X got designed and liked choice C better than A, but well, just some side thoughts on my side. Thank you for the heads up on that and I'll consider it if people are interested in it!

That page is broken though. I tried to sign it with my normal gmail address and it refused to accept it. "Please use a valid personal e-mail" is the error I get. No spaces or other weird characters before or after.
Hmm, it worked for me, but I signed it a couple of days ago :/
