I have to admit, I didn't expect to fall in love with this game's story. It's absolutely fabulous. Although I haven't played many visual novels yet, from those I have played this one is by far the best, and by a mile. The story is captivating and has meaning, the characters develop over time, there's so many relatable comments and situations as well as references. I absolutely adore this. And that's not to mention that it has hot girls in it.
I give this game a 10/10 and my humble few wishes are, that this game will be finished once and also that I'd be able to sleep with Lucy and Anya at the same time the developer continues to have such great ideas. :)

hey man just wanted to say it's a really good game with storyline. As an artist myself I loved how you gave suspense at the end and the cliffhanger. Also, please add some sex scenes not only bjs or some foreplay at least it keeps the audience engaged I know everyone would love to see a bigger gallery with some steaming scenes. Keep going man waiting for the upcoming versions and good storyline just don't leave the development in middle for some reason. Full Support other than that

I finally got around to playing the newest version, and I have to say, it was quite an improvement! The dialogue flowed better and the pacing improved a lot. Definitely earned an upgrade in my rating!

Just gonna ask, but you aren't planning some weird creep shit with Mia and her mom's boyfriend are you? Only thing i can think of for her living in a different town with her moms boyfriend. Just a weird direction to go imo. Also it's obviously personal taste here but having a stripper/borderline prostitute (Raven) as a love interest is kind of weird too. Not many dudes would ever really go for that. Side character 1 off scene sure, but main LI, ehhh.
Lucy is prob my fav character so far, just pure sweetness. Anything bad happens to Lucy we all Riot lmao.

I think you're referring to Venus, not Raven Raven was the girl who gave Simon a lap dance, but she's not an LI. Venus and Raven are both dancers, whatever people interpret from that doesn't necessarily line up with what I have planned. :)
Also, Venus isn't a stripper, at least that's what she told MC. Whether you choose to believe her or not is up to you for now. The story will clear that up eventually.

Hey Panda, not that I don't trust your AVN Seal of Verification but I need a version that won't trigger Microsoft Defender. My PC and I have been through a lot of hacks from clicking "Run anyway".
That message is completely normal for any indie game or (A)VN. Windows shows it whenever an .exe isn't signed with an expensive code-signing certificate, so it labels the creator as "Unknown Publisher".
You basically need to trust the developer you downloaded it from, which is why leaked or early-release builds from random websites can be risky. Sadly it is very easy for someone to inject bad stuff into an .exe. If you grabbed the game from my official itch, Patreon or Substar pages, it's 100% the clean, original build from me, which is safe.
Adding an official publisher signature would require a yearly certificate that costs up to 500€, and for a small solo dev like me that's just not realistic.
TLDR: Don't worry, the warning is expected, harmless, and simply Windows being overprotective (at least for my game). Thank you for checking to be safe!

aight, im actually speechless, the story? AMAZING, thr characters? GREAT, like i was js looking for games to get off to, then got hooked with the title and the overview, hell i even skipped some sexual scenes, i finished it in like 3 hours i think, fav characters are the Twins and Jade, not alot ik, but im really picky with stuff like that, plus im also not rly into milfs.
i have some questions tho
1.) When MC had sexual interactions with Naomi, he always thinks its a dream and forgets abt it afterwards, is that due to his concussion or is it smth else in the future chapters?
2.) Are we able to choose our love interest?(even so id still choose Lucy ngl) or do u plan on not adding dating mechanics?

Lemme ask your questions: 1. When you talk with Naomi later and she doesn't mention anything, then it was actually just a dream. (Not sure if you dislike spoilers, so let's keep it at that)
2. You'll be able to choose whoever you want in your final harem. Not sure how much branching this will require in the end, but if you lose one path with a girl, they're out. It is a basically harem by choice. Actual dating with LI depends on their personality, some chars totally want to go on dates while others might not be interested in those things and more into actual using time for... things.
Mhm, then they didn't forget about it. It was mentioned in Chapter 2 and she also reacts differently to him in Chapter 3! Dominant route is basically the route where you had sex.
Seeing that some other big games are about to release in December/January, I'll put my game behind them since I'm also just half-way with the rendering process as you can see in my dev logs :) It will definitely take some time since I also have quite some stuff going on irl at the moment. I can only continue to give it my best.
Hey guys um... new to this but it won't open once downloaded for the Mac version. I tried a while ago but it refuses to run. I have downloaded it and extracted it but it still won't run. When I look at the toolbar it looks like it simply appears and disappears almost like it closed itself.
Great game, I have so many good things to say about this game, the visuals, the characters, the story, it's all incredibly appealing and makes this game great, that clicker thing is really cool, I was amazed and incredibly amazed to notice how much Panda amazes you with attention to even the smallest details, not to mention you can turn functions on and off in the phone's notification shade. I really like the main character's personality, the game has a lot of funny moments, cool inserts and references, and Panda, I've never seen so many development logs with thoughts and ideas for a future update for a game. This shows how respectful the developer is to the fans of his game and allows them to stay up to date with all the work, and also demonstrates how important the game is to the developer himself and how involved he is. Thank you Panda for all your hard work, I'm looking forward to the next chapter with incredible impatience. P.S. It may have turned out to be too extensive, but I wanted to show the full range of feelings I experienced from the game and, in general, don't judge me too harshly, I used a translator for this.

Thank you! Everyone starts with a base model and we've to work from there, but the variety of characters shows how much you can achieve even with a base model.
I use a lot of programs, for example renpy, vsc, photoshop, neo v2 and something like notepad++, command line, even visual studio 2022 for developing the translation tool.

Hey, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what, but whenever I load my save I am missing all the phone backgrounds I unlocked in previous play sessions. Is there a way to fix this? I don't play in the browser if that means anything.
Hey, that's a rather interesting bug. Usually your unlocked phone backgrounds are saved in the persistent file. Someone had that issue before because they were missing permissions to write to said persistent file. Can you check the folder "%appdata%/Renpy/BetweenHumanity-1679746291" if there are files and if the persistent file is maybe like 500+ KB in size.
Exactly, there should be all the stored variables. What size is the file? And are your save games stored at that spot too?
When windows has trouble saving anything at that location, then it would explain why you won't have unlocked phone background except the custom and default ones.
Did you by chance exported it from the web build? I noticed that sometimes the export function gets interrupted and doesn't export everything. 25kb for the persistent file is way to small, it should be at least 100+kb
hello, i have reached chapter 3 at end and saved because it say to save, then i redownloaded it and kept my save file, then i continue to load but then its only chapter 3 it ended i could not do chapter 4, what to do?

I just downloaded the game and I’m really enjoying it so far. However, I was wondering if it might be a mistake that the French translation is labeled as humain ? Because, without wanting to be rude or downplay the person’s effort, I can guarantee it’s not natural French. There are basic phrasing, wrong word, verb tense error and linking errors that strongly resemble Google Translate from English to French or a poor AI translation, it’s immediately noticeable to a native French speaker. I find it more enjoyable to play directly in English , again sorry if I appeared rude.

I played the first part of the game in French but switched to English because it was smother to read so i can't really talk to much about chapter 3 but the French version often felt a bit unnatural sentences were sometimes oddly structured, words were out of order, and the mix of formal and informal language didn’t sound right. It had that “Google Translate” vibe, even though the meaning was still perfectly understanble
first in the optional briefing at the very beginning, and at one point a whole word seemed to be missing (I’d have to reread the chapter to be sure). I did saw similar issues in the other chapter while taking a quick look , but those parts "problem" felt more like literal, word-for-word translations from English to french.
The issue is just the phrasing , sometimes it sounds strange or slightly off but maybe it's just that i am to strict in my style. Anyway thanks for the reply, looking forward to seeing what you do next
It's the same for some other languages, hence why I only work on the English main language :D makes it easier overall.
I forwarded it to the translator, let's see if there will be any changes or not, can't really promise anything here, except overhauling it with AI. Hire a company to fix it costs way too much for the amount of people who would use the translation in the end.
Hi! Between Humanity has got to be one of the most fun games I have played recently! I love that its not just porn, and the mystery of Lilith really tickles my fancy. Theres no doubt ill be coming back. Every. Single. Update. I also really liked the fact that you can only decide you want to fuck Naomi in real life on the second playthrough (or maybe my game just glitched lol) and Im curious as to whether this function will be in future updates? edit: kind of strange. i was on my third playthrough cuz i wanted to see if there were more options, and it didnt let me choose "Fuck yeah!" for Naomi... is there a prerequisite to say yes?
Hey there! Happy to hear that you enjoyed it so far! Yeah, I try to tell a story and add the adult elements where I see them fit, that's more to my liking. You don't need to play a game to watch porn :D but finding story intensive games with adult elements is kind of rare imo. The Naomi choice has prerequisites, yes. You need to flirt with her in the early game stages to achieve that, otherwise she won't accept your advances (as solved in Chapter 2). Always glad to receive support, so I could maybe one day invest more time into the game beside working on my day job every day, so appreciate it, thank you! :)

GREAT, like i was js looking for games to get off to, then got hooked with the title and the overview, hell i even skipped some sexual scenes, i finished it in like 3 hours i think, fav characters are the Twins and Jade, not alot ik, but im really picky with stuff like that, plus im also not rly into milfs.

1.) When MC had sexual interactions with Naomi, he always thinks its a dream and forgets abt it afterwards, is that due to his concussion or is it smth else in the future chapters?
2.) Are we able to choose our love interest?(even so id still choose Lucy ngl) or do u plan on not adding dating mechanics?

Lemme ask your questions:
1. When you talk with Naomi later and she doesn't mention anything, then it was actually just a dream. (Not sure if you dislike spoilers, so let's keep it at that)
2. You'll be able to choose whoever you want in your final harem. Not sure how much branching this will require in the end, but if you lose one path with a girl, they're out. It is a basically harem by choice. Actual dating with LI depends on their personality, some chars totally want to go on dates while others might not be interested in those things and more into actual using time for... things.

Mhm, then they didn't forget about it. It was mentioned in Chapter 2 and she also reacts differently to him in Chapter 3! Dominant route is basically the route where you had sex.

Hey guys um... new to this but it won't open once downloaded for the Mac version. I tried a while ago but it refuses to run. I have downloaded it and extracted it but it still won't run. When I look at the toolbar it looks like it simply appears and disappears almost like it closed itself.

Thank you! Everyone starts with a base model and we've to work from there, but the variety of characters shows how much you can achieve even with a base model.
I use a lot of programs, for example renpy, vsc, photoshop, neo v2 and something like notepad++, command line, even visual studio 2022 for developing the translation tool.

Hey, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what, but whenever I load my save I am missing all the phone backgrounds I unlocked in previous play sessions. Is there a way to fix this? I don't play in the browser if that means anything.
Hey, that's a rather interesting bug. Usually your unlocked phone backgrounds are saved in the persistent file. Someone had that issue before because they were missing permissions to write to said persistent file. Can you check the folder "%appdata%/Renpy/BetweenHumanity-1679746291" if there are files and if the persistent file is maybe like 500+ KB in size.
I have a file named "persistent" in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BetweenHumanity-1679746291

Exactly, there should be all the stored variables. What size is the file? And are your save games stored at that spot too?
When windows has trouble saving anything at that location, then it would explain why you won't have unlocked phone background except the custom and default ones.

The file size is 25kb and all my saves appear to be in the same place.
Did you by chance exported it from the web build? I noticed that sometimes the export function gets interrupted and doesn't export everything. 25kb for the persistent file is way to small, it should be at least 100+kb

I just downloaded the game and I’m really enjoying it so far. However, I was wondering if it might be a mistake that the French translation is labeled as humain ? Because, without wanting to be rude or downplay the person’s effort, I can guarantee it’s not natural French. There are basic phrasing, wrong word, verb tense error and linking errors that strongly resemble Google Translate from English to French or a poor AI translation, it’s immediately noticeable to a native French speaker. I find it more enjoyable to play directly in English , again sorry if I appeared rude.
Hey, happy to hear that you enjoyed it so far! The french translation was actually done by people, no AI. Was it noticeable in every Chapter or only in Chapter 3? Pointing out that a translation isn't correct, is not rude in my opinion so don't worry. :) I'll look into it later.
I played the first part of the game in French but switched to English because it was smother to read so i can't really talk to much about chapter 3 but the French version often felt a bit unnatural sentences were sometimes oddly structured, words were out of order, and the mix of formal and informal language didn’t sound right. It had that “Google Translate” vibe, even though the meaning was still perfectly understanble
first in the optional briefing at the very beginning, and at one point a whole word seemed to be missing (I’d have to reread the chapter to be sure). I did saw similar issues in the other chapter while taking a quick look , but those parts "problem" felt more like literal, word-for-word translations from English to french.
The issue is just the phrasing , sometimes it sounds strange or slightly off but maybe it's just that i am to strict in my style. Anyway thanks for the reply, looking forward to seeing what you do next
It's the same for some other languages, hence why I only work on the English main language :D makes it easier overall.
I forwarded it to the translator, let's see if there will be any changes or not, can't really promise anything here, except overhauling it with AI. Hire a company to fix it costs way too much for the amount of people who would use the translation in the end.

Hi! Between Humanity has got to be one of the most fun games I have played recently! I love that its not just porn, and the mystery of Lilith really tickles my fancy. Hey there! Happy to hear that you enjoyed it so far! Yeah, I try to tell a story and add the adult elements where I see them fit, that's more to my liking. You don't need to play a game to watch porn :D but finding story intensive games with adult elements is kind of rare imo. The Naomi choice has prerequisites, yes. You need to flirt with her in the early game stages to achieve that, otherwise she won't accept your advances (as solved in Chapter 2). Always glad to receive support, so I could maybe one day invest more time into the game beside working on my day job every day, so appreciate it, thank you! :)
