Not gonna lie I downloaded it for a quick nut but this game went up to my favorites along with Eternum, Once in a lifetime and a bit of Ripples. THE QUALITY IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Holy hell I stayed up until 6 in the Morning cause I got invested in the story. It ended and I felt sad I need more. Daaaamn this is a good game. As of chapter 1+2 I give it a solid Must play / 10. Take your sweet time with the game because that quality is worth the wait. The only minor thing I found is that when the game starts it mentions "persons" instead of people. Everything else was perfect
Persons as in multiple amount of humans doesn't exist in the English dictionary. Plural for person is people and the only other way person can be used is when talking about an item someone has on them / on their person. I'm not a native speaker either so I could be wrong about some things as well. Thank you for the great game, your time to check and reply every comment and your hard work °^°

Just finished (chapter 2) and i was hoping for more right away, this reminds me so much of Once And A Lifetime and Eternum it will take a long time to finish the whole story but please take all the time in the world because i believe it will be worth it (like Mia said) honestly a 11/10 keep up the wonderful work:)

I only took a quick look today and I saw a bunch of stuff I liked about other games, from what I saw the art, animation and world are good and probably interessting.
Normally I take my time but often these games with even 0.1 have barely anything and I was quite stressed today for some reason so I only had a quick look.
I don't even know what to say in this review, the game was perfect. I absolutely love it and have nothing to complain about. At first, I didn't like the MC looks but his sharp facial structure quickly grew up on me to be honest, everyone looks amazing, and I just want Chapter 3 ASAP.
Oh sorry i meant keep the game from crashing it wasnt unplayable but a little annoying and probably my phones fault i just finished chapter two it was really good
Oh, gotcha! Sorry that it crashes, but I'm unsure what to do about it since it seems to work for others. Was it at specific events, like when you opened the phone or was it totally random?

as a fellow game dev I would highly suggest adding a lot of that sort of stuff so you know what players are more drawn to and will want to see more of. even if the player cant see what your tracking its great to be able to do so as a dev
That's true but I won't start tracking which choices the players choose. That might be too much. The playtime on the other hand though, that's quite useful. I can do polls and ask for the popularity of girls or which important decisions was taken at point x if necessary. How would you do it on the other hand? :)
This game was so good, i went through it twice and did it one playthrough because of how well the animations were and models. I really enjoyed it and I cant wait to see what comes of it in the future. I usually wait a little longer in development life because of how long quality games take to render and animate and even make a good story. Anyways like I said I cant wait for more and really like the 2 chapters I got. I wish there was more, but i completely understand why there isnt. Its just me being selfish.... good luck with everything and ill definitely come back for more!!!

Nice i loved it. The animations are really nice, so are the models. The story is a bit basic at the surface but still enoyable. I will let the story unfold overtime before making to much judgement about it.
Oh and about the "good parts" of the game. You are definitely a man of culture (dunno if you are trully a man or not but you still are a man of culture)

I try to keep the differences between lesbian and non-lesbian content small, so I don't have to invest huge amounts of time in content people might not even see (since you need to turn off something in the settings contrary to in-game choices), so I'd say a little amount :)
Jokes on me and absolutely called out by the bot lol. Out of curiosity I manually converted the max int seconds to minutes, hours, days and finally years. Was gonna comment how we were so close to a hidden joke. Then am beaten to the punch because I didn't click a few more times.
Also, am I just being a big derp and missing the button? I can't seem to find the character menu. Looking on the phone just has Texts, Calls, Calendar and Jokes. Pressing Escape just has the usual options and the Gallery.
Completely deleting and reinstalling the game seems to have fixed it.
So many character references this update, I think the only one I didn't recognize was the white haired twin tails in the mall.

Your in-game phone definitely looks off, what operation system are you playing on and did you just download the game or did you load an older save? Haven't had much complains about it, but I recall that this happened before...
Some characters are just backgrounds chars with no reference unfortunately. I need to have some variety.
Latest Windows 10, downloaded a night or two ago, started a new save cause I remembered that I missed a few clickables when I first played (actually *still* missed a few this time around, too!).
Deleted and downloaded again just now and it seems to have fixed it. I haven't a clue why or how that happened

Did you activate the clickable hints? I'm not sure if they're activated by default in 0.2.1 or if I have set that to be the default after 0.2.1 was already released. But you should get sound and graphic indications when a clickable appears!
I've been playing ren'py VNs for a good long while now ever since I picked up my first one I think nearly a decade ago now. I love how each and every one of them have a unique setting, lore, and diverse cast of NPCs you can sleep with.
Yours has all of this and more in spades! I was addicted to the plot and figuring out the right choices to make these girls happy. I enjoy Anya a lot and Jane is an absolute stone cold fox. I hope to see more of this game in the future! Take your time developing it and crafting the story to be as fun and as entertaining as you want it to be!

The biggest flaw for both is there isn't more to read yet! 😁

I got a solution from a fellow dev: You need to navigate to 'Android/data/com.dbpanda.betweenhumanity/files/game/tl' create "/game/tl" if they're not exist and place the chinese translation folder (extracted from the .zip) inside it. It will show you the option to switch to chinese in the in-game menu! :)
Yes, currently the lewd scenes are more like quick encounters which I tried to implement somewhat naturally over the duration of the game. Some characters are more prone to being straight forward while others are going to get what they want through teasing, while some of them again are totally different and have a somewhat "normal" relationship progression. Like a little bit of everything for everyone. Having Lucy teasing the player wouldn't fit and teasing isn't a big part of any character, just specific ones. You'll have to "earn" some lewd scenes for sure, but there is also the question what earning means. If you play the story normally without having to take any difficult choices on the way, is it still earned when you get the girl you wanted from the beginning? I do have plans for every character and you'll see them approaching the player or the other way around, in different ways! Nothing is written in stone yet, but those are my guidelines at least. :)
I can definitely make a list with the songs at some point. They're taken from everywhere basically, online no-copyright sounds over attribution sounds which you can find in the credits up to paid ones from different sites.

Thank you! True, they're mostly on the short side except for Chloe. Longer hair is just a pain to work with cause of all the clipping. But don't worry, hair will grow longer over time.

Hehe, a good balance should be the key though, but all those clipping doesn't favor the use of longer hair.

How does the Android version replace the Chinese file?
Good question, I'm not sure if that's possible. I'll have to ask my developer colleagues. Maybe joiplay works for this?
I got a solution from a fellow dev: You need to navigate to 'Android/data/com.dbpanda.betweenhumanity/files/game/tl' create "/game/tl" if they're not exist and place the chinese translation folder (extracted from the .zip) inside it. It will show you the option to switch to chinese in the in-game menu! :)

Yes, currently the lewd scenes are more like quick encounters which I tried to implement somewhat naturally over the duration of the game. Some characters are more prone to being straight forward while others are going to get what they want through teasing, while some of them again are totally different and have a somewhat "normal" relationship progression. Like a little bit of everything for everyone. Having Lucy teasing the player wouldn't fit and teasing isn't a big part of any character, just specific ones. You'll have to "earn" some lewd scenes for sure, but there is also the question what earning means. If you play the story normally without having to take any difficult choices on the way, is it still earned when you get the girl you wanted from the beginning? I do have plans for every character and you'll see them approaching the player or the other way around, in different ways! Nothing is written in stone yet, but those are my guidelines at least. :)
I can definitely make a list with the songs at some point. They're taken from everywhere basically, online no-copyright sounds over attribution sounds which you can find in the credits up to paid ones from different sites.
